Photo Picture Book
Due to the generosity of Fondation Quebec Jeunes, The Boys and Girls Club of Lachine is pleased to offer the following publication free of charge to any club or organization that wishes to download it. The overall aim of this project is to promote healthy teenage relationships. We thank the students of Lakeside Academy who worked very hard to create a story that not only highlights some of the important issues that young people face on a daily basis, but that also emphasizes the importance of having true friends to help us make wise choices . "Keeping it Real " is an easy to read picture book, and we encourage you to take a few minutes to sit back and enjoy, and then perhaps ask yourself the question, Am I "keeping it real" ?

Pay It Forward
In efforts to bring the youth of lachine closer, The Boys and Girls Club of Lachine along with the Fondation Quebec Jeunes participated in an activity called Pay It Foward. The project was designed to promote healthy relationships amoungst teenagers. The goal was to have teens do a good deed for someone and have that person forward that good deed to someone else. We designed a card that the kids could pass on to eachother, and they could also interact by sharing their story with us.
